SPIRITUALITY SAYS THAT WE ARE FREE TO MAKE CHOICES ON OUR OWN, AND THAT WE MUST TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR ACTIONS.

RELIGION SAYS WE MUST MAKE THEIR CHOICES, AND ACT THEIR WAY.

SPIRITUALITY SAYS WE ARE FREE TO CHOOSE OUR OWN PATH TO GOD.

RELIGION COMMANDS US TO DO IT THEIR WAY.

SPIRITUALITY SAYS WE GO TO GOD TO LIGHTEN OUR BURDEN.

RELIGION HAS TAUGHT US TO FEAR THEIR GOD. (us to go to "them" and fear God) Could it possibly have anything to do with "money?" How could we possibly believe such a thing! Blasphemy!!!

SPIRITUALITY SAYS WE SHOULD NOT BE ASHAMED OF OUR SEXUALITY... THAT IT SHOULD BE A SACRED CELEBRATION OF LOVE.

RELIGION HAS TAUGHT US TO FEEL ASHAMED, GUILTY, AND DIRTY, ABOUT OUR SEXUALITY.

SPIRITUALLY TEACHES US TO HONOR AND RESPECT MOTHER EARTH. (And all the precious beings she has created, be they Human, or Animal!)

RELIGION HAS TAUGHT US TO "BE THOU FRUITFUL, MULTIPLY, AND "SUBDUE THE EARTH" I REPEAT... "SUBDUE THE EARTH"

SPIRITUALITY REMINDS US THAT WE ARE ONE WITH GOD, AND ONE WITH EACH OTHER.

RELIGION TEACHES DISUNITY AND SEPARATION WHICH IS THE OPPOSITE OF GOD.
(Opposite of God's Intention.) Just adds more clarity.

SPIRITUALITY SAYS GOD IS WITHIN. (Beautiful!)

RELIGION SAYS HE IS IN HEAVEN, AND THAT "THEY" ARE THE ONLY INTERMEDIARIES FOR US. (How else can they get you through the door, to pay for their lavish lifestyles?)

SPIRITUALITY SAYS WE ARE BORN IN INNOCENCE AND PURITY.

RELIGION SAYS WE ARE BORN IN SIN.

SPIRITUALITY TEACHES THAT WE ARE ON A LONG SPIRITUAL ADVENTURE, AND JOURNEY WHICH WILL ULTIMATELY END BY REUNITING WITH OUR SOURCE.

RELIGION SAYS WE'VE GOT ONE LIFE TO GET IT ALL RIGHT, AND THERE IS NOTHING BUT HEAVEN OR HELL, AFTER THAT.

SPIRITUALITY SAYS WE ARE FREE TO EXPRESS.

RELIGION GIVES US THE DREADED INQUISITION.

SPIRITUALITY TEACHES THAT WE SHOULD LOVE ONE ANOTHER UNCONDITIONALLY, AND ALWAYS HONOR THE RIGHTS AND CHOICES OF OTHERS. (Unless they choose to do intentional evil!)

RELIGION TREATED NATIVE AMERICANS, THE MAYANS, AND OTHER INDIGENOUS CULTURES AS SAVAGE PRIMITIVES WHO "MUST BE SAVED." (By their genius, no doubt!)
I meant that with a sarcastic twist, for those not to familiar with our way of speaking.

RELIGION HAS CAUSED MORE WARS, AND MORE KILLING, THAN ANY OTHER REASON. (I would use the word insanity, instead of "Reason.")

SPIRITUALITY SAYS RESPECT ALL LIVING THINGS. ("Beings" is a much more accurate choice of wording, since "Animals are not "Things." (I know that you "know that" and meant well in your comment, but I am into Animal Rights/Welfare, and we often correct this wording.) Your intent here was "Noble," I realize that, and we "Thank You" for this inclusion, to often overlooked, by the self- absorbed!
I NEVER ONCE HEARD ANY RELIGION SAY "STOP SLAUGHTERING" MILLIONS OF TREES EVERY YEAR, FOR CHRIST'S BIRTHDAY. (Or, torturing Animals in laboratories, on factory farms, Puppy and kitten mills, and the list of atrocities goes on and on!) When did they ever "Speak Out" against such "INHUMANITY!" And then tell you, that you are bound for "HEAVEN!" When Hell Freezes Over, if this is allowed to continue! (Animals before trees, if you please... even though I do love all of natures beautiful trees!)

SPIRITUALITY SAYS THAT "WE HAVE" ALL THE ANSWERS... THAT WE CAN FIND THEM BY "GOING WITHIN."

RELIGION TEACHES US THAT IT HAS ALL THE ANSWERS, AND ONLY "ITS" ANSWERS ARE THE RIGHT ONES.

SPIRITUALITY TEACHES US TO SEARCH FOR THE UNIVERSAL "TRUTHS," AND OUR "HEARTS" WILL TELL US WHEN WE HAVE FOUND THEM

RELIGION TEACHES WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO ACCEPT THEIR VERSION OF THE TRUTH.

WHICH ONE FEELS BETTER TO YOU? SPIRITUALITY OR RELIGION? GO TO YOUR HEART FOR THE ANSWER. IT WILL NEVER LIE TO YOU.

TO CHANGE: I have serious issues with "two paragraphs" in particular, for as a "Spiritual Person" I see them to be "Deeply Flawed, Extremely Dangerous, and part of the "Dogma" created by the "Religious" rather than the "Spiritual!" It is their "Prize Contrivance" to keep people in their grasp! Our world will continue on it's path to "Complete Destruction" If people are "Falsely" encouraged to believe that God will "Love and Forgive Them" no matter "What Intentional Evil They Do!" God Is Forgiving Of Many Things, But Not The Deliberate Evil, That Brings Harm To His Precious Creation, Be It The Earth, Or The Beings That "He Has Brought Forth Upon It, Be They Of The Human Species, Or Any Other Species! True Sorrow, Reversal, and Compensation... Strong Compensation, may win God's Forgiveness, If All Is Done In Sincerity of Feeling, and Not Simply To Flee "Retribution," if one does prefer that word, to "Hell!" Indeed, just cleaning my whiskers stickin out there! Mom put some of those tiny sweet peas and brown rice in with the cod! She is the Best! Now I have to see if I can jump to the top of the closet, where mom keeps her hats! There is one that I saw that I know I will look RAVISHING in! My cat actually did this, and did not even disturb a single hat! When I couldn't find her, I finally looked in the closet, and a little paw taped me on the head! I looked up, and there she was, with her tiny pussy cat face, and all her whiskers, sticking out there, from under the hat with a tiny bow! I ran to get my camera, and the picture came out as one of the cutest! If I only knew how to post!

Psssss! Psssss! Psssss! Psssss! Psssss! Courtney, (my pooch pal) drank up the last of my milk... but thats ok... I see a glass of milk on the table. If only Mom would put my vitals up high on the breakfast bar... Oh dear, Mom sees me drinking out of the glass on the table... "Here you go my little tiger, (she is cuddling me) and sets me down on all fours at the "BREAKFAST BAR" and is pouring the milk from the glass, into my bowl on the bar! Do Mothers really read minds, or am I just good at making "impressions" that lead to "suggestions? Meow!

Meow! I think we have arrived! Now where is my "Scratching Post?" Ah, there it is... I think mom called it a chair? EEEEEEEEEEK! You don't need to "scream like that!" O.K. now I know! The scratching post is "Not your leg, or the chair!" I'm learning!

I think that I have to post a picture, but I need to wait until I find one... "That should be fun!"

Mom won't take me on her sailboat! She said that she is afraid that if it sinks, I could not make it back to shore, so I stay at home where it's safe, with her sister... but she promised to take me sailing when they stay in close to land!

Oh dear, I am sniffing something... It is cod fillets!
